Autumn Sausage and Apple Bake
A flavorful blend of pork sausage, apples, potatoes, and Brussels sprouts, with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg. This sweet-and-savory dish captures the essence of fall!

Autumn Sausage and Apple Bake

Using our pasture-raised pork sausage

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb pork sausage links, sliced
  • 2 apples, cored and chopped
  • 3 small red potatoes, cubed
  • 1 cup Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 1 large sweet onion, sliced
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Layer the sausage, apples, potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and onions in the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg over the top, then pour in apple cider. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until potatoes are tender and sausage is cooked through.
  4. This one is amazing served with a side of warm bread or rice. Let the cozy fall flavors shine!
