Autumn Sausage and Apple Bake
Using our pasture-raised pork sausage
Ingredients:
- 1 lb pork sausage links, sliced
- 2 apples, cored and chopped
- 3 small red potatoes, cubed
- 1 cup Brussels sprouts, halved
- 1 large sweet onion, sliced
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 cup apple cider
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Layer the sausage, apples, potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and onions in the crockpot.
- Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg over the top, then pour in apple cider. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until potatoes are tender and sausage is cooked through.
