DIY Chicken or Beef Bone Broth

DIY Chicken or Beef Bone Broth

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs Autumn’s Harvest Chicken Backs or Marrow Bones
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, smashed
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 12 cups water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. 1. Combine all ingredients in a large stockpot or slow cooker.
  2. 2. Simmer on low for 12-24 hours, skimming occasionally.
  3. 3. Strain the broth, cool, and store in jars or freeze for later.
  4. 4. Use as a base for soups, stews, or sipping straight!
