DIY Chicken or Beef Bone Broth
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs Autumn’s Harvest Chicken Backs or Marrow Bones
- 1 onion, quartered
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, smashed
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 12 cups water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- 1. Combine all ingredients in a large stockpot or slow cooker.
- 2. Simmer on low for 12-24 hours, skimming occasionally.
- 3. Strain the broth, cool, and store in jars or freeze for later.
- 4. Use as a base for soups, stews, or sipping straight!
