Directions
Ingredients:
2 Autumn's Harvest Farm bone-in pork chops
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges for serving (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare the Pork Chops:
Take the bone-in pork chops out of the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 20-30 minutes.
Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Season both sides of the pork chops generously with salt and pepper.
Seasoning and Marinating:
In a small bowl, mix together minced garlic, olive oil, chopped rosemary, and chopped thyme.
Rub the herb mixture evenly over both sides of the pork chops, ensuring they are well coated.
Allow the pork chops to marinate for at least 15-20 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Searing the Pork Chops:
Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
Once the skillet is hot, add the pork chops and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Roasting:
Transfer the skillet with the seared pork chops into the preheated oven.
Roast for approximately 12-15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare or 160°F (71°C) for medium, measured with a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the chop.
Resting and Serving:
Remove the skillet from the oven and let the pork chops rest for 5-10 minutes on a cutting board.
This resting period allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring tender and juicy pork chops.
Serve the Autumn's Harvest Farm bone-in pork chops hot, garnished with lemon wedges if desired, alongside your favorite sides such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a crisp salad.
