Autumn's Harvest Farm Smoked Ham with Honey Glaze

  • 1 Autumn's Harvest Farm Smoked Ham
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Whole cloves (optional, for garnish)
  • Pineapple rings (optional, for garnish)
  • Maraschino cherries (optional, for garnish)

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Prepare Ham: Place the Autumn's Harvest Farm Smoked Ham in a roasting pan, cut side down.
  3. Score the Ham: Using a sharp knife, score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern, about 1/4-inch deep. This will help the glaze penetrate and add a decorative touch.
  4. Make Glaze: In a small saucepan, combine the honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar has dissolved and the glaze is smooth, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Glaze the Ham: Brush the glaze generously over the surface of the ham, making sure to get into the scored lines.
  6. Bake: Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C) when measured with a meat thermometer.
  7. Glaze Again: About halfway through the cooking time, remove the foil and brush the ham with more glaze. Repeat this step once or twice more during the remaining cooking time.
  8. Optional Garnishes: If desired, you can decorate the ham with whole cloves pressed into the scored lines and arrange pineapple rings and maraschino cherries on top for a classic touch.
  9. Rest and Serve: Once the ham reaches the desired temperature, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute and ensures a moist and flavorful ham.
  10. Slice and Enjoy: Slice the ham thinly and serve warm with your favorite sides. Enjoy the delicious flavors of Autumn's Harvest Farm Smoked Ham with your loved ones!

Remember, for safety reasons, it's recommended by the USDA to heat a smoked ham to an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C) before eating.
